Pemberton and Hague are two fine Jugglers, Dancers and Entertainers bringing back the stylistic spirit of the early twentieth century Italian American Mob with a comedy twist.

Dressed in finely tailored suits, the very elegant 1920's gangsters offer a unique interactive and roaming drive by comedy act in a hilarious miniature car straight out of the Gatsby era. Think Bugsy Malone meets Whacky Races.

The visually captivating drive-by comedy is the perfect roaming entertainment for all types of events including summer and outdoor events as it is totally family-friendly fun. Previous engagements include Newby Hall Gardens, Down Royal Racecourse Belfast, Camberley Car Festival, Hammersmith Market.

This summer you can catch them at Henley Festival, Oldham Classic Car show, Ipswich waterfront festival and Out There Festival Great Yarmouth.

The Roaming 1920's Comedy Gangsters will choose a spot to hop off their miniature car and deliver some interactive fun with juggling, swing dance, vintage circus tricks and plenty of comedy capers. They provide a themed soundtrack from inside the car which could be tailored accordingly.

This comedy act is extremely suitable roaming entertainment for car rallies, vintage parties, festivals, family-friendly celebrations, motoring events, themed functions, transport festivals, steam fairs, Gatsby themed parties and much, much more.

In the autumn 2017 Pemberton & Hague were awarded Lab Time Squared funding from The National Centre For Circus Arts for research into Eccentric Dance with a two week residency at Dance East Ipswich. We spent one week learning and developing movement with Barry and Joan Granthem followed by one week with director and theatre maker Jeremy Stockwell. We have since been funded by Arts Council England to continue this development and are currently half way through this phase. So far we spent two weeks at Dance East researching deeper by studying Vernacular Jazz with Ryan Francois and creating a first draught of a new indoor theatre show. This research period will end in September 2018 with further development of theatrical ideas back in the room with Jeremy Stockwell.
